Lead cross-functional efforts to secure in-country licensing, regulatory approvals, and partnerships for global deployment of ground station infrastructure. Engage regulators and policymakers, assess regulatory and geopolitical risks, manage compliance submissions, and align engineering and business teams to execute market entry strategies and timelines.

Design, deploy, and operate enterprise LAN/WAN and hybrid cloud networking for corporate facilities and AWS GovCloud. Implement zero-trust, microsegmentation, FortiGate firewalls, and Cloudflare Zero Trust. Manage VPN/private connectivity, enterprise wireless, automation (Ansible/NetBox), monitoring/telemetry integration with SIEM, and ensure ITAR/CMMC compliance alongside security engineering and identity systems like Okta.

Design and build a global, resilient network backbone for phased-array ground stations. Implement BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, deploy DWDM and fiber transport, provision global circuits, manage carrier relationships, optimize performance and capacity, and lead international network deployments for mission-critical satellite communications.

Lead and execute FPGA design for phased-array ground stations, define architecture and interfaces, mentor and grow a team of 5–10 FPGA engineers, build FPGA processes and automated infrastructure, and step in hands-on to drive project delivery on aggressive timelines.

Design, build, and characterize RF electronics (LNAs, filters, PAs). Create electromagnetic simulation models, collaborate across disciplines, and iterate hardware for reliability, performance, and manufacturability. Troubleshoot integrated RF system performance.

Lead sourcing strategy, supplier selection, RFQs/RFIs, contract negotiations, and procurement execution to support production and NPI. Manage purchase orders, material planning, supplier performance, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program teams.

Lead electrical design for high-speed mixed-signal digital communication systems, including schematic capture, multilayer PCB layout, prototype bring-up, lab and field testing, EMI/EMC troubleshooting, and working with production to ensure manufacturable, testable products. Collaborate with RF, antenna, FPGA, firmware, and production teams to optimize system architecture, signal/power integrity, and performance.

Define and evaluate RF and antenna system architectures for satellite and ground systems, perform link budgets and beamforming trade studies, design and test phased arrays and RF front ends, execute integrated physical-layer tests, debug RF performance through measurement and modeling, and support regulatory and operational RF system design and deployment.

Own integrated delivery visibility and risk across Digital products (modems, beamforming, telemetry, scheduling, ground-station software). Maintain execution plans, dependency maps, schedules, and tooling. Surface and resolve cross-team integration risks, coordinate testing across environments, partner with mission management/customers, and drive improvements to velocity, reliability, and deployment readiness.

Lead architecture, definition, and validation of RF communications systems for satellite and ground products. Translate customer requirements into RF system architectures, perform link and system modeling, drive product development through prototyping, testing, regulatory compliance, manufacturing, and field deployment, and act as a technical customer liaison across RF, DSP, software, and manufacturing teams.
