Own Firecrawl’s brand positioning, voice, messaging, launch copy, social presence, competitive differentiation, and content calendar. Build and operate Firecrawl’s legal operations function from scratch. Responsibilities include implementing contract, compliance, matter management, e-billing, and legal technology systems; managing contract intake and routing; overseeing outside counsel and vendors; tracking legal spend, contract volume, and turnaround times; supporting regulatory research; and automating repetitive workflows with technology and AI. The role partners closely with finance, sales, product, engineering, HR, security, and leadership.

Own and negotiate Firecrawl’s commercial agreements, including enterprise contracts, data licenses, vendor agreements, NDAs, and partnerships. Advise sales, business development, product, and engineering on data rights, privacy, security, intellectual property, indemnification, and liability. Build legal templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and approval processes while supporting compliance initiatives. Operate autonomously, escalate novel issues appropriately, and provide practical business-focused legal guidance in a fast-moving AI infrastructure company.

Own Firecrawl’s open source repositories, including the main Firecrawl repo and anydoc document parsing engine. Responsibilities include triaging issues, reviewing pull requests, cutting releases, writing documentation, improving self-hosting, designing APIs and primitives, and shipping code weekly. The role requires strong engineering ownership, open source judgment, and a track record of maintaining or significantly contributing to widely used projects.

Own enterprise security and deployment requirements from discovery through shipped platform capabilities. Build reusable cloud and on-premises infrastructure supporting key management, tenant isolation, compliance integrations, and hybrid or multi-cloud deployment. Partner with sales, founders, and platform engineers, communicate designs to enterprise security teams, and directly implement solutions in TypeScript and Node.js.

Build and own Firecrawl’s technical compliance function from scratch. Translate legal, security, privacy, and policy requirements into engineering controls, monitoring, documentation, metrics, and automated processes. Lead cross-functional compliance programs across engineering, legal, sales, and operations; identify and close gaps; and provide evidence for customer security reviews and audits. The role requires strong technical fluency, comfort with ambiguity, excellent communication, organizational discipline, and extensive use of AI tools.

Build and own Firecrawl’s Marketplace Exchange, turning signed data partnerships into live, permissioned, metered, and billable API integrations. Responsibilities include provider catalog development, routing partner data through the API, feed ingestion, access gating, usage metering, billing and payout reporting, and creating reusable integration patterns. The role requires strong product sense, developer experience focus, end-to-end ownership, and the ability to work effectively on ambiguous problems in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Build and ship developer-facing document-parsing products from concept through production. Own parsed-output reliability across PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, scanned files, and mixed formats. Solve layout detection, table structure, reading order, and OCR-routing challenges while creating intuitive APIs. Collaborate on roadmap decisions, use the product, monitor developer feedback, and rapidly iterate based on real customer needs.
