Lead mechanical design and analysis of complex electro-mechanical systems, run experiments and tests, produce reports, design new equipment, lead small technical teams, mentor junior engineers, and support failure investigations and design reviews.

Design, analyze, and develop electro-mechanical components and systems. Create drawings and specifications, support manufacturing and testing, run experiments and FEA/CAE analyses, produce reports, and provide maintenance and technical support for rotating equipment and new machinery. Coordinate projects, present design reviews, and ensure compliance with safety and DoD security requirements.

Manage month-end close processes, prepare and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, ensure GAAP and policy compliance, investigate reconciling items, maintain accounting records and process documentation, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Lead reliability and safety engineering for electromechanical and hydromechanical aircraft actuation systems. Develop safety/reliability plans, perform FTA/FMEA/FMECA and MTBF analyses, interpret requirements (ARP4754/ARP4761), generate deliverables, and support design teams to ensure system availability, maintainability, and certification.

Lead cost accounting including standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, month-end close, and compliance. Manage and develop cost accounting staff and matrixed program financial analysts. Provide financial analysis, FP&A support, forecasting, KPI development, and cost-reduction recommendations. Partner with Program Management, Operations, and Supply Chain; support audits and internal controls.

Manage proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration for government and commercial contracts. Monitor performance for compliance, analyze costs, prepare modifications, liaise with customers and internal teams, resolve financial or performance issues, and support contract negotiations and pricing strategies.

Design and analyze complex electro-mechanical systems and components for aerospace and defense customers. Lead feasibility studies, testing, prototype fabrication, and support drafting. Provide manufacturing support, failure investigation input, and mentor junior engineers while driving continuous improvement and documentation of engineering best practices.
