Design ruggedized, mission-critical products across physical and human-facing systems, from concept through production. Develop concepts, prototypes, form factors, and user interactions while balancing ergonomics, durability, manufacturability, and operational constraints. Collaborate with hardware, software, UI, mechanical engineering, product, and brand teams; participate in field testing and operator research; guide trade studies and design direction; and help establish a cohesive product language for defense and dual-use systems.

Owns subsystem mechanical design, CAD models, production drawings, structural and thermal analyses, interface documentation, supplier coordination, make-buy assessments, production transition, configuration control, and sustainment. Collaborates across mechanical, electrical, RF, power, and systems engineering teams while resolving complex integration challenges and supporting environmental qualification.

Lead end-to-end mechanical design and integration of missile and UAV launcher systems for ground and maritime platforms. Define mechanical and electro-mechanical interfaces, design ruggedized structures and safing features, ensure compliance with military standards, lead supplier and customer technical interactions, support production transition and sustainment, and resolve integration issues.

Design and integrate ruggedized electronics, enclosures, mechanisms, and mounts for ground- and sea-mobile platforms. Create and maintain 3D CAD models and interface documentation, perform first-order structural and thermal analyses, support prototyping, system-level integration, qualification, and production transition while working with customers and suppliers.

Design and assess secure architectures for software, embedded, hardware, and cloud systems. Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, compliance/ATO support (RMF, NIST, CMMC), security testing, and remediation. Establish secure engineering standards, mentor teams, and collaborate across engineering and program stakeholders to integrate security throughout the product lifecycle.
