Lead design, architecture, integration, testing, and operation of electromechanical flight hardware for orbital payloads and hypersonic reentry. Define requirements, drive analyses and trade studies, guide cross-functional teams, manage verification and testing, support launch/recovery, resolve anomalies, and mentor engineers.

Lead supplier quality for mechanical components by evaluating supplier capabilities, conducting audits, defining inspection and acceptance criteria, and driving corrective actions. Lead design, build, and operate mission-critical infrastructure across cloud, on-prem, and spacecraft contexts. Implement IaC, CI/CD, observability, and scalable Kubernetes-based systems; respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, optimize performance, and collaborate with software and hardware teams. Participate in on-call rotations and occasional travel.

Own end-to-end technical recruiting for hardware and engineering disciplines (autonomous systems, propulsion, thermal, mechanical, structures). Build hiring strategies, source and close senior talent, manage multiple searches, maintain Greenhouse ATS, advise engineering leadership, and improve hiring processes and candidate experience.

Negotiate and manage full contract lifecycle for government and commercial space missions, ensuring FAR/DFARS/NFS and export-control (ITAR/EAR) compliance. Support proposals, negotiate NDAs and customer agreements, manage closeouts, advise leadership on contract rights/obligations, and coordinate cross-functional teams to enable mission operations.

Hands-on manufacturing engineering internship supporting assembly and integration of spacecraft and reentry systems. Contribute to factory design, create or improve production processes, optimize hardware for manufacturability, and support production operations and build tasks.

On-site cybersecurity internship supporting InfoSec team: triage daily alerts, tune and maintain security tools, collect and organize logs for audit, manage vendor reports, upload compliance artifacts, and deliver an end-to-end project (e.g., logging gap report or incident response refresh).

Work on mission and flight software for spacecraft: build C++/Python tools and libraries, automate simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing, debug across OS/networking/hardware boundaries, and collaborate with flight, embedded, and operations teams under mentor guidance.
