Leads the hardware engineering team across autonomous vehicle and robotics programs. Responsibilities include staffing, hiring, mentoring, resource allocation, engineering process development, technical reviews, design guidance, prototype testing, manufacturing support, requirements development, proposal support, and customer engagement. The role requires multidisciplinary hardware leadership spanning mechanical, structural, hydraulic, electrical, manufacturing, and vehicle systems, with travel to customer and test sites as needed.

Lead systems engineering for autonomous robotic and electromechanical platforms across lifecycle: architecture, MBSE modeling, requirements, interface definition, integration, verification/validation, safety analyses, technical trade studies, and cross-disciplinary leadership supporting prototyping, testing, and field deployment.

Lead mechanical design and production transition for rugged autonomous ground vehicles. Own subsystems from concept through prototype, testing, refinement, and production release. Design components and assemblies, support fabrication and integration, resolve cross-discipline issues, develop test plans, and collaborate with electrical, software, and systems teams to ensure reliability, manufacturability, and field supportability.

Lead integration and execution of mechatronic robotic systems: design electrical architectures, wiring, and packaging; select and integrate sensors, actuators, and compute; prototype and fabricate hardware; debug system-level issues across electrical, mechanical, and software domains; execute integration testing, verification, validation, and field testing; manage integration risks and translate MBSE diagrams into buildable solutions.
