Develop test stands and fabrication drawings, supervise integration and instrumentation, execute field-based mechanical and structural tests, collaborate with naval architects and autonomy teams, and maintain test records for DoD certification.

Design, develop, and implement perception systems for autonomous surface vessels: build sensing and navigation algorithms, create metrics for performance evaluation, and work with large datasets for model training and evaluation.

Designs, integrates, and scales shipyard manufacturing processes and equipment. Onboards automated assets, performs equipment repair and maintenance planning, reads blueprints, enforces quality/compliance paperwork, trains staff, and collaborates with software and production engineering to improve production systems while following shipyard safety protocols.

Lead integration, deployment, and optimization of maritime autonomy systems. Perform field testing, debug cross-disciplinary issues, analyze mission data, architect autonomy capabilities, mentor teams, and author deployment protocols to ensure reliable, scalable autonomous vessel operations.

Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications for autonomous surface vessels using JavaScript/TypeScript and React. Build server-side components with Node.js/Express, integrate third-party APIs, optimize performance/security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Lead technical direction for mechanical engineering across perception hardware, marine systems, integration, and structures. Resolve complex design and analysis issues, guide reviews and tests, improve designs and validation strategies, partner cross-functionally to deliver manufacturable, reliable autonomous surface vessel hardware, and mentor engineering teams.
