Plan, execute, evaluate, and document pier-side and underway autonomous vessel sea trials. Author test plans, build requirement-to-test matrices, lead onboard test execution, capture data and defects, coordinate retests and corrective actions, and produce SITREPs and formal trial documentation while interfacing with software teams, vessel crews, vendors, and classification societies.

Design, manage, and scale hybrid GovCloud and on-prem infrastructure to support autonomous fleet operations. Responsibilities include IaC (Terraform), automation, monitoring, incident response, networking, storage, security/compliance (ITAR, FedRAMP), developer tooling, CI/CD support, and disaster recovery in collaboration with engineering and enterprise IT.

Own and develop the enterprise ServiceNow platform: build scripts, Flow Designer automations, integrations (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub), manage CMDB/Discovery/MID Servers, configure ITSM/ITOM and Hardware Asset Management Pro, administer Service Catalog and portals, enforce ACLs/RBAC, provide Tier 3 support, and partner with IT leadership to deliver scalable, secure solutions and documentation.

Design and develop autonomous commercial vessel concepts through production, performing hull-form optimization, resistance/power predictions, stability and hydrodynamic analyses, structural and systems design, regulatory submissions, CAD/weight integration with autonomy systems, and technical reporting.

Advise engineering on maritime standards and regulations, support requirements and systems engineering, perform compliance audits, track class society comments, ensure design best practices, maintain technical documentation, and research naval architecture and autonomous maritime developments.

Build and maintain command-and-control web applications with a frontend focus. Implement SPAs/PWAs, optimize performance, integrate backend APIs/servers, deploy to cloud, support video streaming and WASM modules, and collaborate with UX designers and clients to meet UI/UX and accessibility requirements.

Integrate, develop, and validate perception sensors (radar, LiDAR, camera, GPS) for unmanned surface vessels. Define requirements, design calibration fixtures, run analysis and testing, support manufacturing, and present design reviews while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and vendors.

Lead R&D and integration of ruggedized onboard computing and networking for autonomous vessels. Design, benchmark, and validate embedded systems, high-availability networks, and environmental/EMC compliance. Prototype and test in lab and field, produce technical documentation, mentor junior engineers, and support dockside commissioning and sea trials.

Build and maintain full‑stack web applications and Palantir Foundry integrations to connect production data, program governance, and analytics. Implement data pipelines, APIs, dashboards, and AI-assisted tooling; collaborate with program managers and cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical operational software from concept to production.

Lead R&D for navigation and positioning on autonomous vessels: evaluate and benchmark GNSS/INS/IMU/LiDAR/radar systems, design integration architectures, prototype electrical configurations, run lab and sea trials, perform trade studies, author technical reports, mentor junior engineers, and support system qualification and IP generation.
