Manufacturing Engineer responsible for design-for-manufacturability reviews, production process development, documentation, tooling, fixtures, inspection methods, and NPI support for PCBAs, electromechanical systems, and radar hardware. The role interfaces with hardware engineering, supply chain, contract manufacturers, and suppliers while improving quality, yield, throughput, and production readiness. Leads strategic sourcing and subcontracting activities from solicitation through closeout for aerospace and government-funded programs. Responsibilities include RFQ/RFP management, supplier evaluation, price analysis, negotiations, purchase orders, subcontract administration, compliance flow-downs, audit-ready documentation, supplier performance management, and process improvement. The role requires collaboration with Legal, Engineering, Finance, Security, Manufacturing, and program teams in a regulated environment.
