Responsibilities include developing strategic capabilities and GTM playbooks, managing strategic customer engagements, influencing product roadmap priorities, creating partnerships, launching models, and driving initiatives from definition through execution. The role requires technical fluency in AI, ML infrastructure, or cloud platforms, strong stakeholder communication, quantitative decision-making, and an entrepreneurial, high-accountability mindset.

Own and scale the deal desk function by structuring complex enterprise deals, advising on pricing and discounts, managing approvals, modeling profitability, validating bookings, and coordinating Sales, Finance, Legal, Revenue Operations, Accounting, and Order Management. Build scalable processes, policies, playbooks, and workflows for consumption-based and subscription pricing while monitoring deal velocity, margins, discount performance, and booking accuracy.

Lead Fireworks AI’s security operations function, including CrowdStrike deployment, detection engineering, incident response, SOAR workflows, threat intelligence, playbooks, metrics, and cross-functional incident coordination. Build and tune detections, operationalize response processes, run post-incident reviews, and improve coverage against MITRE ATT&CK. The role begins as a hands-on individual contributor and may grow into team leadership, including hiring and expanding 24/7 coverage and capabilities such as cloud detection engineering and red/purple team operations.

Develop, fine-tune, integrate, and deploy machine learning models and AI-powered applications for customers. Build demonstrations and proofs of concept, contribute platform features and bug fixes, enable new models, optimize performance and scalability, and collaborate with go-to-market teams and partners. The role requires strong software engineering, customer-facing communication, and the ability to execute complex technical projects.
