The AI Product Engineer will design, build, and ship AI features for clean energy finance while collaborating with various stakeholders to improve transaction processes.

Lead tax investor coverage by building relationships with large corporate tax-credit buyers across utilities, real estate, and industrials. Manage and mentor a junior team, shape buyer strategy, act as a subject-matter expert on renewable tax credits, partner with external legal/tax advisors, speak publicly, develop offerings, and drive adoption of Crux’s technology platform.

Lead go-to-market strategy and positioning for Crux's capital solutions aimed at institutional investors. Own audience segmentation, messaging, market insight, and commercial enablement; align product, commercial, and marketing stakeholders; create decks, battlecards, and training to drive adoption and measurable revenue outcomes.

Lead design and deploy automation-first systems to streamline diligence, deal evaluation, and GTM workflows. Build integrations across HubSpot, Omni, and internal systems, use AI and n8n for automation, instrument analytics, and partner with commercial, product, and engineering teams to improve service delivery and customer experience.

Lead senior client relationships and originate, structure, and execute M&A advisory and debt financing mandates across the clean energy capital stack. Drive transaction workstreams, prepare client materials and financial models, mentor junior staff, and partner with product and structuring teams to integrate Crux's software and intelligence platforms. Represent Crux at industry events and contribute to market intelligence and business development.

Own vendor procurement, contracts, provisioning, and IT strategy for employee hardware/software. Manage SSO/onboarding/offboarding, device management, SOC2 audit evidence, vendor negotiations, cost audits, and automation of provisioning processes.

Lead cross-functional revenue strategy by diagnosing GTM funnel gaps across tax credits, debt, and investments; prioritize high-impact process improvements; design and build tooling with BizOps and Product; embed with commercial teams to understand deals firsthand and drive data-informed improvements to deal velocity.
