Own end-to-end recruiting for Engineering and Product teams, including sourcing, candidate engagement, stakeholder partnership, negotiations, and offer acceptance. Develop innovative strategies to attract elite technical talent, improve hiring velocity and recruiting efficiency, support inclusive hiring, and deliver a high-touch candidate and hiring-manager experience.

Lead Mirage’s Product Design function by setting design vision and quality standards, managing and developing designers, and building the team, systems, and culture. Partner with executive, Product, and Engineering teams on product strategy and roadmap. Guide complex AI-native video creation experiences from exploration through launch, translating emerging capabilities across text, image, audio, motion, and video into intuitive products.

Build agentic systems for multimodal creative tasks, especially video analysis and editing. Develop and adapt large language models through novel objectives, datasets, fine-tuning, and alignment methods. Create evaluation frameworks, run systematic experiments, analyze failures across planning and tool use, and improve agent reliability. The role requires ownership from model experimentation through deployed agent systems and is based in-person at the company’s New York City headquarters.

Build and scale generative video and multimodal models, improving training and inference efficiency, latency, memory usage, cost, GPU utilization, and throughput. Develop distributed training systems, optimization techniques, experimentation and evaluation tools, and production-ready model systems. Monitor real-world performance and translate research prototypes into reliable, low-latency video generation products.

As a Software Engineer, you'll develop end-to-end experiences for creative workflows, focus on user interface performance, and integrate AI models for enhancing video production. You're expected to own features and manage projects in a fast-paced environment, utilizing full-stack development skills.
