Leads strategy development and inorganic growth for Vopak’s USA and Canada business, including market intelligence, asset sourcing, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, M&A execution, and post-merger integration. The role evaluates bulk liquid terminal infrastructure, tracks commercial performance, prepares investment proposals, and advises executive leadership using market, competitor, customer, and financial analysis.

Own end-to-end Order-to-Cash billing for Sydney and Darwin terminals: design O2C workflows, translate contracts into invoices, perform reconciliations and forensic analysis, resolve billing variances, act as customer SPOC, and standardize processes to ensure audit compliance and accelerate cash flow.

Performs monthly financial close, reporting, reconciliations, KPI analysis, budgeting, audits, tax and statutory reporting. Supports insurance administration, payroll processing, accounts receivable coordination, intercompany invoicing, corporate governance, and continuous improvement through data, technology, and automation. Collaborates with accounting, operations, auditors, legal, commercial, and customer service teams.

Provide executive administrative support (70%) and basic legal/paralegal and board-meeting assistance (30%). Manage complex calendars, travel, communications, expense reporting, meeting logistics, correspondence, and special projects while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.

Leads financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX management, financial close, investment appraisal, and project reporting for operating companies. Oversees Business Analysis and Project Accounting teams, develops complex financial models, supports risk management and internal controls, and contributes to strategic decisions as a member of the Opco Leadership Team.

Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of terminal automation upgrades, migrating legacy DCS systems to modern DCS across three terminals. Coordinate engineering, IT/OT, vendors, and operations, manage budgets, schedules, FAT/SAT/IQ, and systems integration (TOS/ERP/SAP). Ensure safety, compliance, change management, and post-project continuous improvement. Travel regionally (LA/TX) and support on-site commissioning and testing.

Manage inbound/outbound product movements and serve as primary customer contact. Oversee order fulfillment across marine, rail, truck, and pipeline; ensure ERP data accuracy; optimize terminal capacity and mitigate bottlenecks; coordinate cross-functional teams; prepare customer invoices; and uphold SHEQ safety and compliance standards.

Provide operational HR support across the hiring lifecycle: recruitment coordination, pre-employment screening (I-9), onboarding, contractor administration, HRIS data entry, HR reporting and analytics, and partner with managers and procurement on HR matters.

Manage financial controls for sustaining and growth capital projects: track, monitor, forecast, and report project costs and accruals; reconcile project cost tools with enterprise accounting; support monthly reporting and stakeholder meetings; advise on cost status, risks, insurance, and tax; develop KPI/risk frameworks and liaise with project managers, procurement, and finance.

Lead project controls for Growth Projects across the US & Canada BU, implement cost/schedule controls, develop benchmarking and reporting, perform forecasting and Monte Carlo risk analysis, support governance and continuous improvement, and provide oversight for FEL-1/2 project controls and resourcing for later project phases.
