The role involves supporting the EVP of Strategy with various tasks including calendar management, document preparation, financial modeling, communications, and stakeholder engagement in a renewable energy company.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design and analyze Node structures and subsystems, perform structural analysis, and manage CAD models and drawings, ensuring their manufacturability and reliability in offshore conditions.

Design and deliver hull systems for long-duration ocean deployment: perform stability, weights, seakeeping, and hydrodynamic analyses; produce structural and mechanical designs and fabrication drawings; lead multidisciplinary investigations into hydrodynamic loads; collaborate with marine operations, fabricators, regulators, and insurers; drive corrosion and biofouling strategies and ensure seaworthiness and deployability of Node systems.

Lead naval architecture for ocean-deployed hull systems: perform stability and weights analyses, develop structural and mechanical designs, release fabrication drawings, conduct hydrodynamic and Orcaflex studies, define seakeeping/mooring requirements, drive corrosion/biofouling strategies, and liaise with regulators, insurers, fabricators, and marine operations teams.
