Lead naval architecture for ocean-deployed hull systems: perform stability and weights analyses, develop structural and mechanical designs, release fabrication drawings, conduct hydrodynamic and Orcaflex studies, define seakeeping/mooring requirements, drive corrosion/biofouling strategies, and liaise with regulators, insurers, fabricators, and marine operations teams.

Design and analyze mechanical components and assemblies for an ocean-deployed energy system. Create CAD models and detailed drawings, perform structural hand calculations and trade studies, direct prototyping and testing, and work with technicians and suppliers to prepare deployments and maintenance procedures.

Lead design of mechanical subsystems for long-duration, maintenance-free ocean-deployed hardware. Own concept-to-deployment cycles including trade studies, CAD, FEA, material selection, prototyping, testing, vendor interfacing, and mentoring junior engineers.

The Fluid Dynamicist will develop and validate marine hydrodynamics tools, collaborate with engineering teams, and perform data analysis to support design and optimization tasks.

Manage end-to-end procurement for a high-complexity manufacturing environment: source suppliers, issue and manage purchase orders, perform price/cost analysis, resolve shortages and discrepancies, onboard and monitor supplier performance, and coordinate with engineering on specifications and timelines.
