This role ensures governance and stability of test environments and data management, overseeing their lifecycle and compliance with quality standards. Responsibilities include data integrity, collaboration with IT teams, environment readiness, and process improvements while managing staff and communicating with stakeholders.

Supports financial planning and analysis activities, including reviewing spend requests, preparing budget and forecast analyses, reconciling ERP and financial planning data, updating planning systems, and escalating issues. The intern will follow regulatory and organizational policies and complete a project, likely an annual ISO/RTO benchmarking presentation. The role provides exposure to accounting processes, general ledger entries, personnel processes, and business decision-making.

Coordinates shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, transportation, and delivery schedules. The intern may also explore artificial intelligence applications in risk management and will gain practical experience supporting risk-informed leadership decisions within a critical infrastructure organization.

Summer 2027 internal audit internship for undergraduate or graduate students. Interns will complete projects addressing challenges in the electric industry, collaborate with ERCOT employees, and develop professional and technical skills in a fast-paced environment. The role requires on-site work in Taylor, Texas at least two days per week.

Full-time Summer 2027 intern supporting ERCOT’s Portfolio Management team. Responsibilities include documenting Power Automate workflows, improving processes, enhancing code in test environments, testing Microsoft Project Server deployment, reverse-engineering Power BI reports, loading project engagements, assessing resource capacity, managing test backups, and supporting special projects. The role is based in Taylor, Texas, with at least two onsite days per week.

Summer 2027 internship supporting ERCOT’s Digital Technology Administration department across data operations, data product management, and grid research innovation. Interns will work on real electric-industry challenges, collaborate with ERCOT teams, and develop technical and professional skills. The role is full-time and requires on-site work in Taylor, Texas at least two days per week, with additional attendance based on business needs.

Summer 2027 IT internship supporting ERCOT’s Digital Technology Administration department. Interns may work in endpoint management, cybersecurity, grid and market applications engineering, systems support, technology development, or test automation. The role provides hands-on project experience in a professional energy technology environment and requires on-site work in Taylor, Texas at least two days per week.

Lead architecture, development, governance, and administration of SharePoint Online, Project Online, Microsoft 365 collaboration, and Power Platform solutions. Design secure, scalable SharePoint and Power Platform implementations, develop SPFx components and Power Apps/Automate solutions, establish governance/SDLC practices, integrate with Microsoft Graph/Azure services, automate administration with PowerShell, and support compliance, migration, and adoption in a regulated energy environment.
