Leads upstream supply chain strategy for Vertex’s Pain portfolio, supports end-to-end program initiatives, and drives S&OP, supply planning, launch and phase-out activities. Manages scenario planning, inventory, orders, logistics providers, risk mitigation, strategic sourcing, budgets, SOPs, and supplier relationships. Manages complex calendars, domestic and international travel, expenses, contracts, procurement, invoices, meetings, conferences, events, documents, records, and team operations. Coordinates with internal departments, vendors, consultants, government officials, and external organizations while handling confidential information, resolving conflicts, tracking follow-ups, and maintaining compliance with company processes.

Leads AI enablement, advanced analytics, automation, process mining, and digital transformation across Global Clinical Operations. Develops analytics assets, low-code/no-code solutions, workflow automations, reusable AI frameworks, and platform capabilities. Evaluates emerging technologies, defines business requirements, supports proofs of concept, promotes responsible AI, and drives adoption through communities of practice, super-user networks, coaching, and stakeholder engagement. Partners with clinical operations, enterprise technology teams, vendors, and global matrixed organizations to improve clinical trial execution and operational performance.

Lead AI and automation initiatives in Real-World Data analysis, optimize processes using AI/ML, and drive project management efficiency.

Analyzes complex quality and operational datasets, identifies trends, develops metrics, reports, visualizations, and data collection systems, and supports data-driven decision-making. The role documents data lifecycles and sources, advises business partners on data models and analysis, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.

Leads global revenue technical accounting, including ASC 606 evaluations for products, contracts, and reimbursement agreements. Reviews complex gross-to-net matters, develops accounting policies, supports contract drafting, and partners with accounting, finance, commercial, and SEC Reporting teams. Prepares revenue disclosures, recognition memos, audit schedules, and supporting documentation for quarterly and annual reviews. Presents complex accounting analyses to senior management and ensures consistent application across global accounting teams.

Lead Vertex’s enterprise AI transformation portfolio by prioritizing and sequencing reinvention projects, managing investment governance and interdependencies, aligning funding and capacity, and providing executives with evidence-based recommendations, portfolio models, risk views, and decision support. Partner across Finance, technology, workforce strategy, operations, and business functions to ensure transformation investments remain focused on business value and evolve with changing priorities and evidence.

Lead Vertex’s enterprise AI enablement strategy, including change management, workforce AI fluency, leader and manager support, adoption campaigns, AI champion networks, reusable standards, and measurement. Partner across learning, communications, technology, engineering, governance, and leadership teams to translate AI strategy into responsible, compliant, role-relevant employee practices. Drive enterprise-wide adoption, behavior change, capability building, and continuous improvement across a complex, matrixed organization.
