Prepare corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns; assist with estimates, extensions, projections, and tax planning research. Summer tax internship involving preparation of corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns; quarterly estimates; extensions; projections; and federal and state tax research. The intern will support client engagements across multiple industries, collaborate with accounting professionals, develop accounting software skills, and receive training supporting future CPA certification.

Supervise and perform audit, review, and compilation engagements; lead teams of up to five staff; analyze financial statements, controls, and audit evidence; prepare and review workpapers; research accounting and auditing matters; communicate engagement status and issues to managers, partners, and clients; and apply GAAP, GAAS, AICPA, FASB, and applicable state regulations.

Participate in IT audit and consulting engagements, including SOC, ISO, cybersecurity, HITRUST, Sarbanes-Oxley, and internal audits. Evaluate client control environments, assess process risks, test key controls, analyze audit evidence, prepare reports, and determine control effectiveness. Conduct client interviews, interact with C-suite stakeholders, identify audit issues, and apply relevant professional standards and regulations while developing practical IT audit skills.

Supports supervised financial and IT audit work, including SOC audits, IT General Controls, ISO assessments, SOX, internal audits, and agreed-upon procedures. Learns client systems, control environments, process risks, and transactional controls; develops control tests, evaluates effectiveness, supports fieldwork, resolves audit issues, and participates in client-facing activities, training, and internal meetings.

Supports financial and IT audit advisory engagements under supervision, including SOC audits, IT General Controls, ISO assessments, SOX, internal audits, and agreed-upon procedures. Learns client systems, control environments, process risks, and transactional controls; develops control tests, evaluates effectiveness, supports fieldwork, and helps resolve audit issues with clients. The internship includes project work, training, client interaction, and internal meetings.
