Leads Growth Engineering across backend, mobile, and web platforms, setting technical strategy and standards while partnering with Product, Marketing, User Acquisition, Data Engineering, and BI. Oversees scalable growth systems, personalization, experimentation, instrumentation, subscription and payment integrations, and operational excellence. Manages engineering leaders and teams, drives hiring and development, and aligns growth initiatives with company and product roadmaps to improve acquisition, activation, conversion, ARR, and lifetime value.

Own the onX Hunt lifecycle conversion funnel, including D7/D30 conversion, free-to-paid upgrades, and lapsed-user reactivation. Use Amplitude, behavioral segmentation, propensity models, and Braze to develop personalized email, push, and in-app campaigns. Design and analyze experiments, communicate results, collaborate cross-functionally, use AI to scale campaign workflows, and mentor junior marketers.

Lead and grow onX's Access & Stewardship program by setting strategy, overseeing grants and partnerships, directing government affairs, measuring impact, and aligning cross-functional teams. Translate policy and stewardship priorities into executable plans, manage budgets and the Adventure Forever Grant Program, represent the program externally, and coach a small team while producing executive-ready reporting and recommendations.

Lead Offroad content and data strategy: define data needs, evaluate third-party/land-manager sources, own data model/schema and content roadmap, measure content impact, manage Trail Guide program relationships, and collaborate with product, design, engineering, and partners to deliver trusted offroad content. Advocate for customer experience and integrate AI experimentation into workflows.

Lead earned media strategy and execution for Offroad and Backcountry, managing agency partners, building media relationships, crafting narratives, running media experiences, preparing spokespeople, integrating PR with cross-functional GTM efforts, monitoring coverage and sentiment, and supporting crisis communications and measurement using AI-enabled workflows.

Work directly with the CEO, CFO, and Senior Director of FP&A on high-impact strategic analyses and special projects. Build financial models (DCF, scenario/sensitivity, ROI), evaluate growth and pricing opportunities, source and manipulate data from multiple systems, and synthesize findings into clear narratives and recommendations for senior leadership. Partner with BI to improve data pipelines and analytical infrastructure.

Build, maintain, and automate onX's infrastructure platform and deployment pipeline using IaC. Manage Kubernetes/GKE, Terraform, GCP services, observability, and incident response. Improve performance, availability, cost, and developer path to production while participating in on-call rotations and collaborating on architecture.

The Staff Data Engineer leads the design and evolution of onX's lakehouse and data platform, focusing on data architecture, governance, security, and technical mentorship across teams.
