Join Blue Origin as a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design of manufacturing systems, ensure quality control, optimize supply chain logistics, and collaborate with teams to enhance operations for aerospace products.

Design and implement SDN and routing solutions for a multi-orbit satellite constellation: routing, topology management, fast-reroute, telemetry-driven self-healing, packet forwarding, and observability. Collaborate with RF and silicon teams and mentor junior engineers.

Design and implement MAC control-plane software for satellite point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links. Develop schedulers, admission-control, state machines, QoS, flow control, and link-adaptation logic. Define interfaces to PHY/modem/hardware, evaluate centralized vs. distributed architectures, build simulation and test capabilities, and lead development through hardware integration, qualification, and deployment.

Support and maintain quality systems (AS9100/ISO9000), perform audits/inspections, resolve manufacturing quality issues, analyze trends for continuous improvement, mentor staff, and participate in new product quality integration.

Perform reliability requirements decomposition, component and system-level reliability predictions, life test design, and reliability growth modeling. Use data and cross-functional collaboration to drive design, maintenance, and process improvements that improve flight and test reliability for space systems.

Lead design and implementation of multi-threaded embedded C/C++ software for Linux/RTOS/bare-metal on multi-core SoCs. Develop drivers and data/control plane functions for RF, antenna, and optical systems; integrate software with hardware, debug using SW/HW tools, champion CI/CD and TDD, and mentor junior engineers. Collaborate across teams to ensure performance, reliability, and secure high-speed data handling for space-based communications.

Lead supplier qualification and development programs through Blue Origin's four‑gate pathway. Conduct on‑site audits, maintain qualification files, drive capacity/yield improvements, partner with Supplier Quality, and build supplier capability data to support production readiness and sourcing decisions. Frequent supplier site work and cross‑functional collaboration required.

Lead setup and optimization of fabrication and manufacturing centers with emphasis on automation, MES, and scalable factory design. Drive process improvements, root-cause analyses, technology maturation, and production-ready process development. Provide technical leadership, manage schedules/budgets, and mentor engineers to improve throughput, quality, cost, and cycle time.

Design, develop, and integrate controls and robotic systems for custom automation solutions. Create ECAD schematics, BOMs, PLC and robot code, and electrical panels; support fabrication, commissioning, troubleshooting, and production reliability improvements while ensuring safety and manufacturability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and conduct prototyping, testing, and system integration.

Design, analyze, develop, and test secondary spacecraft structures (composite and metallic). Create 3D models and drawings, support manufacturing and integration, run trade studies, develop test plans, execute subsystem tests, and manage schedule/budget for lunar lander hardware.
