Lead end-to-end technical programs for satellite communications systems, coordinating multidisciplinary teams (RF, ASIC/FPGA, embedded software, hardware, mechanical, manufacturing). Manage schedules, risks, vendors, prototypes, integration, validation, NPI, production ramp, and executive reporting while ensuring cross-functional alignment of requirements, interfaces, and deliverables.

Develop and own end-to-end, high-fidelity simulation frameworks for large multi-beam phased-array satellite communication systems. Model digital/hybrid beamforming, array performance, RF impairments, satellite geometry, and link budgets. Perform Monte Carlo and corner-case analysis, generate coverage/SINR maps, evaluate architecture tradeoffs, and translate results into antenna, RF, and digital implementation requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support correlation with hardware measurements and system testing.

Serve as technical authority for ground-based radiometric measurements and orbit determination. Architect flight dynamics software, define navigation standards and processes, coordinate tracking and DSN interactions, provide real-time navigation support, lead trades and analysis, collaborate across GNC/systems/ops, represent Blue Origin to partners, and mentor navigation engineers.

Lead EPS architecture for LEO satellites: define requirements, perform system trades and simulations, develop power budgets, design/integrate solar and battery systems, drive R&D for novel power/storage technologies, author technical documentation, support integration/test and anomaly resolution, and mentor engineering staff while briefing stakeholders and government customers.

Design, develop, test, and manufacture motion control and electromechanical systems. Architect closed-loop control systems, define cross-discipline interfaces, support requirements and verification, present technical content, guide test plans, and deliver flight-capable hardware on schedule.

Develop, verify, and test real-time embedded avionics software for reusable rocket engines. Participate in full software lifecycle: requirements, architecture, implementation, device drivers, integration, and system testing for safety-critical systems.

Develop, implement, and enforce quality system processes for production and development; perform AS9100 audits; review/approve build documents; participate in design reviews to improve manufacturability; provide QA expertise to inspection, manufacturing and test; lead quality improvement and training initiatives; analyze quality performance and support root cause and corrective actions.

Lead spacecraft reliability engineering across subsystems from requirements through verification, integration, and operations. Perform and direct FTA, FMECA, reliability block diagrams, and reliability evaluations; support V&V, integration and test campaigns; mentor engineers; coordinate with subsystem leads and program leadership to meet end-to-end vehicle reliability targets.

Design and support fluid and mechanical systems for rocket engine ground test facilities across the full lifecycle. Produce P&IDs, models, drawings, and analyses; apply fluid mechanics and structural fundamentals to cryogenic, propellant, and high-pressure gas systems; support supplier coordination, hazard assessments (PHA/HAZOP), fabrication/start-up, configuration management in Windchill, and on-site commissioning and field operations.

Design and analyze production, test, integration, and advanced manufacturing tooling and custom machines for aerospace programs. Lead tooling projects from concept through fabrication, installation, proof testing, and commissioning while collaborating with designers and manufacturing to meet safety, cost, quality, and schedule goals.
