Lead technical CAD/PLM authority driving development, maintenance, and release of complex 3D models, 2D drawings, and MBD for ground support hardware. Mentor and guide CAD team, define CAD/PLM standards, manage large assemblies, oversee change control in Windchill, and drive process improvements, tool adoption, and AI-assisted design workflows to support launch, test, transportation, and manufacturing systems.

Develop and validate control algorithms and control laws for rocket engine systems. Build and correlate dynamic models (fluid/valve/actuator), perform control systems analysis, support HIL and integrated tests, define control/instrumentation requirements, and lead architecture decisions while mentoring junior engineers.

Serve as Responsible Engineer owning technical baselines; develop and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs); lead and facilitate agile sprints; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system integration and resolve interface issues; support verification and validation activities.

Design and implement repeatable manufacturing processes for rocket engines, create work instructions and process documentation, support DFM/DFA/DFT, evaluate and deploy manufacturing methods, lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions, participate in FMEAs and validation, and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 while collaborating cross-functionally to improve throughput and quality.

Deploy, configure, and integrate an Electron/TypeScript/Node.js C2 application onto test stands and control hardware. Validate PLC and industrial-protocol communications, data storage, and real-time send/receive. Build and manage releases, troubleshoot software/hardware integration, and develop/execute integration tests while collaborating with controls, avionics, and test engineers.

Design, develop, and qualify valve components and assemblies for rocket engines. Lead testing, resolve non-conforming hardware, use CAD/GD&T, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, mentor junior engineers, and support design-to-production transitions.

The Motor Design Engineer will lead the design and development of cryogenic electric motors for lunar landers, focusing on performance analysis, electromagnetic design, and collaboration with teams for high-reliability components.
