Leads mission-level integration of complex space and satellite capabilities across government, contractors, and program teams. Defines shared mission outcomes, reconciles architectures, manages dependencies, coordinates testing and upgrades, establishes interface agreements, and drives decision-ready tradeoffs. The role aligns cybersecurity, operations, fielding, training, sustainment, and production activities to deliver usable warfighter capabilities. It requires extensive satellite communications and mission systems experience, technical leadership, cross-organizational influence, an active DoD Top Secret clearance, and U.S. citizenship.

Coordinates concurrent government and defense projects by maintaining schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, decision logs, and readiness views. Facilitates stakeholder meetings, tracks actions through closure, reviews work products for quality and compliance, develops decision-ready reports and briefings, and supports prototype planning, acquisition analysis, testing, and transition activities. The role also improves project workflows and requires collaboration with government, technical, operational, and industry stakeholders.

Leads business development, capture, proposal development, market analysis, and customer relationship efforts for high-value Federal Government and Intelligence Community contracts. Provides technical leadership across systems engineering, modeling and simulation, sensor management, detection, and intelligence fusion. Builds agency and industry partnerships, maintains the business pipeline, aligns R&D with opportunities, and guides cross-functional teams toward successful contract awards.

Prepare and manage U.S. Government and commercial contract invoices across T&M, FFP, Cost-Plus, and IDIQ agreements. Reconcile billable costs, monitor funding and invoice status, resolve discrepancies, and manage accounts receivable, collections, cash application, aging reports, and customer account reconciliations. Collaborate with Finance, Contracts, Program Management, and customers while applying FAR requirements and maintaining accurate billing records.

Support the Controller in directing accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and government contract accounting. Oversee month-end/quarter/annual close, internal controls, DCAA/DCMA audit support, cash forecasting, financial statements, budgeting, indirect rates, and executive financial reporting. Coordinate engineering, production, procurement, and field service teams while overseeing technical requirements, configuration control, change management, project documentation, and resolution of critical issues. The role requires domestic and international travel of up to 15–20%.

Lead cybersecurity and systems engineering for military satellite communications modernization. Develop technical requirements, acquisition documentation, roadmaps, risk assessments, and integration plans. Coordinate cryptographic key management, COMSEC/TRANSEC planning, certification, testing, and security activities across government, contractor, and mission partners. Support technical baseline reviews, vendor evaluations, executive briefings, and deployment activities for secure space and ground communications systems.

Lead systems engineering, acquisition, architecture, technical baseline, trade study, and integration activities for military satellite communications and related space systems. Coordinate government, industry, and operational stakeholders; support CONOPS, mission planning, technical reviews, program risk tracking, digital engineering, and acquisition decisions. The role requires extensive DoD acquisition experience, SATCOM systems expertise, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Supports U.S. government Protected Tactical SATCOM acquisition and system-of-systems integration and test. Responsibilities include assessing contractor assembly, integration, and test activities; evaluating spacecraft, payload, ground-system, and interoperability risks; reviewing technical performance, requirements, compliance documentation, and test readiness; tracking anomalies and program risks; and providing technical recommendations to government leadership. The role is onsite in El Segundo, California and requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Leads software systems engineering and integration for secure DoD mission-planning applications supporting MILSATCOM. Defines architecture, interfaces, requirements, verification strategies, and integration priorities; coordinates Government stakeholders and prime contractors; oversees deployment into classified, air-gapped environments; supports DevSecOps, cybersecurity, testing, accreditation, and cross-domain data workflows; develops technical artifacts and decision packages; and mentors engineers.
