Manage invoicing and accounts receivable for lower-complexity customers. Negotiates carrier rates, builds and manages carrier relationships, covers freight, monitors shipments, tenders loads through Carrier360, verifies carrier and tracking authenticity, communicates service failures, and supports timely, safe transportation execution. The role analyzes market trends, manages competing priorities, maintains accurate shipment records, and provides urgent customer and internal updates across multiple shifts.

Under close supervision, the intern will support transportation brokerage operations by verifying carriers, maintaining shipment records, monitoring freight movement, learning market trends and pricing strategies, assisting with carrier negotiations, and communicating service issues between internal stakeholders and carriers. The role provides hands-on exposure to transportation industry dynamics, capacity challenges, margin objectives, and technology used for load management and workflow efficiency.

Negotiates carrier rates to meet load, revenue, and margin goals; builds and manages carrier relationships; tenders and tracks freight through Carrier360; monitors pickups and deliveries; verifies carrier authenticity; communicates service failures; and supports efficient, safe transportation execution while adapting to shifting priorities and market conditions.

Supports Talent Acquisition leadership with recruiting campaigns, paid job postings, vendor relationships, recruiting events, candidate attraction research, market analysis, and source-effectiveness reporting. Coaches hiring managers on recruiting strategies, communicates with business partners, supports talent branding, and contributes to workforce planning and other recruiting initiatives.

Provides administrative support to department professionals by managing communications, correspondence, reports, files, schedules, inquiries, deliveries, and administrative projects. Coordinates onboarding preparations for new hires, including asset ordering, security setup requests, and training schedules. The role interfaces with employees, customers, departments, and outside agencies while maintaining accurate records and supporting management under close supervision.

Generates and converts enterprise sales opportunities through prospecting, customer discovery, proposals, negotiation, and closing. Develops account strategies, coordinates solution implementation, establishes customer success expectations, monitors KPIs and contract adherence, and transitions mature accounts to internal account management teams. Requires transportation sales experience, including North American Truckload expertise, local customer travel, and a clean driving record.
