Trainee role learning to manage driver operations, assign and monitor loads, ensure DOT compliance and safety, handle payroll and basic financial/administrative duties, support fleet/yard maintenance, build driver and carrier relationships, and provide customer service while working varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsible for contacting prospective customers, conducting lead generation, managing accounts, and implementing customer solutions. Must travel to meet clients.

Manage execution of customer freight orders: enter orders, schedule pickups/deliveries, monitor on-time/damage-free service, coordinate billing and accessorial approvals, and proactively communicate load status to customers and operations to maximize freight potential and customer satisfaction.

Lead and develop a sales team to grow J.B. Hunt services revenue. Define opportunity strategy, monitor KPIs, ensure excellent customer experience, resolve escalations, coordinate internal teams, train personnel, and collaborate on pricing, operations, and financial performance.

Negotiate carrier rates to meet load expectations and margins, tender loads and manage freight via the Carrier360 platform, monitor shipments, verify carriers, communicate service issues internally, and collaborate with teams to ensure timely, safe, and efficient transportation solutions.

Oversee site or fleet operations, supervising drivers and support staff to optimize assets, control costs, and meet customer service goals. Plan capacity, train and audit processes, manage safety and DOT compliance, compile performance and financial reports, and develop budgets. Serve as primary customer contact and drive employee development, retention, and operational improvements across shifts.

Assigns and optimizes loads and drivers to meet customer service, safety, and cost goals. Manages external carriers, monitors pickup/delivery performance, balances freight and equipment, tracks KPIs, resolves service issues, and mentors junior logistics staff.
