The Principal Software Engineer will lead the architecture and development of Redpanda's Agentic Data Plane, focusing on integrating AI agents with enterprise data, improving system observability, and engaging with strategic customers.

Design and develop Redpanda's Agentic Data Plane, lead large technical projects, ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance while collaborating across teams.

Build and maintain Redpanda's Connectors and cloud connect-infrastructure in Go. Design AI-enabled streaming solutions, ensure resilience and observability, support zero-downtime upgrades, collaborate with Cloud and Core teams, and participate in on-call rotations to improve system reliability for a managed streaming service.

As a Solutions Architect, you'll ensure customer success by designing streaming architectures, integrating solutions, and improving experiences with Redpanda products.

Qualify inbound leads through rapid, thoughtful responses and discovery conversations. Build relationships with engineering and platform teams, qualify opportunities, and create strong handoffs to Account Executives. Maintain accurate Salesforce data, partner with Marketing on lead quality and messaging, meet pipeline and conversion targets, develop expertise in Redpanda and data streaming, and suggest process improvements.

Own and execute renewals for SMB and mid-market SaaS customers, collaborate with CSMs and AEs to mitigate risk, lead commercial renewal conversations, drive forecasting in Salesforce, identify upsell at renewal, coordinate with Finance/Legal/Deal Desk, and improve renewal processes and metrics (NRR, churn, on-time renewals).

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Redpanda, you will drive sales through presentations, technical evaluations, and managing complex enterprise campaigns, aiming to create a healthy revenue pipeline and close deals.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the Agentic Data Plane (ADP) and cloud services across major cloud providers while leading system architecture and ensuring system reliability and scalability.
