The Accounting Associate will prepare and analyze financial reports and tax returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy in accounting. The role involves client onboarding, bookkeeping, accounts management, and supporting financial operations.

Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, provide tax planning and research, conduct paid client consultations, ensure compliance, respond to notices and exams, mentor junior staff, maintain organized workpapers, and improve tax preparation workflows using tax/accounting software.

Manage full-cycle accounting, tax, bookkeeping, payroll, AR/AP, and financial recordkeeping. Ensure US tax compliance, prepare year-end audit schedules, support audits, analyze financial data, mentor junior staff, assist process documentation and automation, and contribute to client acquisition and retention.

Lead and maintain the plant Quality Management System, run internal and external audits, resolve customer and supplier quality issues using RCA/8D, track quality KPIs, implement SPC/MSA, support PPAP/FMEA/Control Plans and new product launches, drive continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen), train and manage quality staff, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
