The Sales Manager sells guestrooms to assigned market segments, develops new and existing accounts, conducts sales calls, generates leads, negotiates contracts, arranges site inspections, and supports booked business. The role tracks sales activity, analyzes market trends, contributes to budgets and forecasts, coordinates with hotel operations, and helps achieve revenue, occupancy, and profitability targets. Local travel, trade shows, networking, presentations, and occasional nonstandard work hours may be required.

Generates group room and banquet revenue through prospecting, relationship development, account management, contract negotiation, and upselling. Manages conferences, meetings, banquets, and events from booking through completion, coordinating room setups, audio-visual services, food and beverage, billing, vendors, and hotel departments. Maintains BEOs, group resumes, rooming lists, sales records, and client communications while ensuring service quality, customer satisfaction, and budget performance.

Leads the hotel sales, catering, marketing, and conference services teams. Develops and executes sales strategies, manages client relationships, oversees proposals and contracts, achieves revenue and market penetration goals, collaborates on pricing and forecasting, supports hiring and performance management, monitors productivity and financial results, and prepares sales reports for leadership.

Oversee the property's accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and team leadership. Partner with the general manager, operations, ownership, and corporate teams to maintain financial integrity and improve performance. Supervise accounting managers, accountants, and clerks while ensuring adherence to GAAP, company policies, brand standards, and applicable laws.

Manage property-level accounting operations for a dual-brand hotel, overseeing cashiering, accounts receivable and payable, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L review, night audit oversight, vendor and guest billing/collections, record retention, and compliance with corporate standards.

Lead and manage the sales, catering, and conference services teams to achieve revenue, RevPAR, and market penetration goals. Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, oversee contracts and proposals, collaborate with Revenue Management, produce sales reporting, support hiring and performance management, and maintain strong client relationships and responsiveness.
