Entry-level tax internship introducing public accounting through orientation, mentor support, and hands-on client work. Responsibilities include client communication, federal/state/local and wealth tax compliance, internal control analysis, and preparation and maintenance of engagement workpapers during a full-time eight-week (or longer) period.

Support the Entrepreneurial Services Group with small-business accounting and tax engagements: prepare and maintain financial records, perform reviews/compilations, assist income tax planning and return preparation, prepare payroll tax filings and 1099/W-2 forms, review client documentation, communicate with clients, and identify performance improvements.

Introduce interns to public accounting through client communication, office and client-site work, tax compliance support (federal, state, local, individual/trust), internal controls analysis, and preparing workpaper documentation while using firm IT and Microsoft Office. Full-time, multi-week internship with training and a Career Advocate.

Support small-business accounting and tax engagements: prepare and review financial statements, assist with tax return preparation and payroll/1099/W-2 filings, maintain client records, perform attest procedures, and communicate findings to engagement teams and clients.
