The role investigates alerts and incidents, maintains security controls, supports firewall and cloud security, manages awareness training, develops documentation, and communicates risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders. This fully remote position supports healthcare organizations in strengthening their cybersecurity posture.

Designs, implements, and manages cybersecurity controls across healthcare IT environments, including EHRs, medical devices, and cloud systems. Configures security tools, conducts vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, monitors and responds to incidents, performs forensic investigations, and maintains incident response plans. The role supports HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, and SOC 2 compliance, audit readiness, security reporting, client collaboration, and security awareness initiatives.

Lead client discovery, gather technical and business requirements, design healthcare IT solutions, develop Statements of Work and implementation plans, and support opportunities through the sales and delivery lifecycle. Collaborate with account management, engineering, cybersecurity, project management, procurement, and operations teams. Communicate solution value to technical and executive stakeholders while coordinating handoffs, scope changes, documentation, and customer communications.
