Leads AOI’s SEC and external financial reporting, including 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy filings, earnings materials, and disclosures. Provides technical accounting leadership under U.S. GAAP, oversees SOX controls, manages audits, and directs global close and reporting processes across U.S., Taiwan, and China operations. The role develops the financial reporting team, supports the CFO and Audit Committee, and improves reporting systems, documentation, automation, and processes.

Perform failure analysis of semiconductor optical laser devices using TEM, FIB, SEM, EDX/EDS, SIMS, and XPS. Prepare samples, conduct high-resolution imaging, analyze structural and electrical defects, identify root causes affecting yield and reliability, and maintain laboratory equipment. Document findings, present technical reports, collaborate with design, process, and quality teams, and support continuous improvement in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
