Provides technical leadership to mechanical engineering teams, defines work breakdown structures, tracks schedule and budget, manages technical risks, supports regulatory compliance, and leads design reviews.

Leads systems engineering across aerospace and defense projects, developing requirements, architectures, use cases, interface documents, trade studies, risk analyses, and verification plans. Builds system models using traditional documentation tools and MBSE platforms, supports design reviews, integration, configuration control, and customer communication. Provides technical leadership, project estimates, sales support, temporary project management, scope monitoring, and mentorship for junior engineers.

Sources and recruits engineering candidates through networking, Boolean searches, recruiting campaigns, outreach, screening, and pipeline management. Builds candidate relationships, provides talent-market insights, supports diverse hiring pipelines, maintains recruiting documentation, ensures policy compliance, and assists with special projects. Requires engineering recruiting experience, strong communication skills, technical interest, autonomy, organization, and teamwork.

Supports mechanical engineering projects involving vehicle and structural durability testing. Plans and directs engineering work, guides design engineers and technicians, manages schedules and costs, selects instrumentation and sensors, develops test procedures, and conducts laboratory simulations using data acquisition systems, pneumatic and hydraulic rigs, and shaker testing equipment. Regular travel to client worksites within the metropolitan area is required.

Develops system-level technical concepts for Class 8 vehicle electrical architectures and electric trucks. Authors technical reports and cross-functional specifications, creates functional schematics and block diagrams, and collaborates with global engineering teams using SAFe Agile. Analyzes product issues and performs root-cause investigations during system verification and validation. Occasional travel to client sites within the MSA is required.

Supports mechanical engineering projects by coordinating schedules, priorities, budgets, testing procedures, instrumentation, and hardware selection. Performs laboratory simulation and verification testing involving data acquisition, pneumatic and hydraulic rigs, shaker testing, vehicle vibration, structural durability, and system functionality. Requires travel to locations throughout the Greensboro metropolitan area.

Develop and upgrade satellite flight software for new missions, including embedded software, performance analysis, modeling and simulation tools, payload models, and software testing from unit through platform level. Support hardware-in-the-loop integration, flight hardware deployment, anomaly resolution, software patches, mission impact assessments, customer and vendor working groups, and proposal development. The role requires extensive space hardware or flight software experience, C/C++ proficiency, U.S. citizenship, and eligibility for a government security clearance.

Leads large-scale Greenfield and Brownfield manufacturing expansions and capital projects from concept through commissioning and operational handoff. Develops scopes, schedules, budgets, risk plans, and execution strategies; manages projects exceeding $100M. Coordinates Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Facilities, Procurement, vendors, and executives. Oversees facility expansion, infrastructure upgrades, equipment installation, startup, production ramp-up, governance, stakeholder communication, and operational readiness while driving accountability and risk mitigation.
