The Associate/Associate Director will assist in credit research, develop analytical tools, and lead the credit rating process for funds.

Supports full-cycle recruiting by sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, managing requisitions, communicating with candidates, maintaining Greenhouse records, tracking pipelines, preparing reports, and improving recruiting processes. The role initially supports senior recruiters and gradually assumes independent requisition management in a hybrid New York office schedule.

The role requires finance-related academic study, Excel proficiency, analytical ability, communication skills, attention to detail, initiative, and collaboration.

Provides broad in-house legal counsel across contracts, client engagement letters, vendor agreements, corporate governance, data privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and international operations. Advises business development and internal teams, supports regulatory examinations and submissions involving UK, EU, and US authorities, assists with registrations and regulatory research, and manages corporate agreements and governance documentation.

Lead credit rating assignments and surveillance for fund financing instruments, evaluating capital structures, legal protections, collateral, cash flows, managers, and counterparties. Prepare rating memos and reports, present recommendations to committees, develop financial models and analytical tools, collaborate across finance sectors, supervise junior analysts, conduct research, and represent KBRA with investors and industry participants.

Lead complex project finance and infrastructure credit-rating assignments, including financial model analysis, transaction structuring, risk assessment, rating recommendations, committee presentations, and portfolio surveillance. Provide sector and methodology leadership, develop research and thought leadership, engage senior market participants, mentor analytical staff, support recruiting, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives while maintaining analytical independence.

The CMBS Analyst will monitor credit performance, perform cash flow analysis, derive asset valuations, and contribute to research and reporting.

The Assistant General Counsel will manage privacy, data protection, and contract-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and supporting internal teams on legal questions.

The Director will lead the ratings process for funds, interact with issuers, conduct credit research, and mentor junior staff while managing complex financial models.
