Performs fundamental engineering tasks under close supervision across design, development, testing, installation, integration, sustainment, operations, and maintenance of software, electronic, or mechanical systems. Conducts research, calculations, tolerance studies, technical problem solving, documentation, and test procedure support while following applicable engineering standards, codes, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Supports developmental and operational testing for military test-range systems. Coordinates instrumentation data requirements, analyzes pre-test predictions and collected data, identifies anomalies, develops basic analysis tools, presents findings, supports control-center test activities, and helps author final test products.
