Prepares semi-complex mechanical and electronic designs, including PCB layouts, schematics, CAD models, system drawings, and technical documentation. Provides senior-level software and systems engineering for government test-range projects. Develops C#/.NET desktop applications using WPF, databases, APIs, business logic, and data visualization. Leads architecture, design, modernization, performance optimization, and reusable UI development. Guides technical staff, supports proposals and consulting, documents implementations, and maintains customer relationships. Requires independent work, technical leadership, and collaboration across disciplines.

Performs engineering tasks involving the design, development, testing, installation, integration, sustainment, operation, and maintenance of software, electronic, and mechanical systems. Conducts laboratory investigations, technical research, design calculations, test activities, documentation, presentations, and technical problem resolution under senior engineer supervision. Maintains logistics data and documentation, reconciles inventory discrepancies, supports Government-Furnished Property and equipment activities, prepares reports, and communicates task status to customers.
