Owns and executes critical business initiatives supporting hiring, onboarding, and cross-functional special projects. The Operations Manager will help establish operational processes for a rapidly scaling space technology startup, solve complex business problems, and coordinate work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Build high-performance embedded software for satellite servicing systems, including relative navigation, robotics, grappling, spacecraft interaction, and proprietary mechanism control. Develop software across varied computing hardware and architectures, and create hardware-in-the-loop and processor-in-the-loop systems. The role supports novel spaceflight technologies in a fast-paced startup environment.

Develop simulation software and infrastructure for autonomous satellite servicing missions. Responsibilities include building cloud infrastructure, automating simulation analysis, testing autonomous software in simulated space environments, and supporting integrations with satellite compute hardware.

Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for satellite servicing vehicle programs. Manage strategic supplier relationships, supplier quality, hardware delivery, and risks affecting schedule, cost, and quality. Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support spacecraft assembly, integration, testing, and launch delivery while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Lead mission engineering for commercial and government satellite-servicing opportunities. Develop mission work plans, evaluate technical feasibility, make engineering and program decisions, review analyses and customer-facing deliverables, and validate scope, schedule, and pricing before proposals and contracts. Coordinate directly with customers and guide opportunities through mission execution. The role requires aerospace experience, systems and orbital dynamics knowledge, strong judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Manage and support company IT and facilities by configuring hardware and software, troubleshooting issues, building network and infrastructure, and ensuring IT systems reliably support employees and company missions.

Design and layout electrical schematics and PCBs, support electromechanical prototyping and system design, manufacture prototypes, integrate hardware (and HW/SW), and build flight-capable satellite servicing hardware. Work on-site in Tukwila under ITAR requirements.

Drive business development across commercial and government customers: research opportunities, initiate discussions, build relationships, manage the sales pipeline, support proposals, close contracts, and generate revenue for satellite servicing missions.

Develop, implement, and test autonomous GNC flight algorithms for satellite rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking. Write software, refine guidance/navigation/control algorithms, and support in-orbit RPOD mission testing for the Otter servicing vehicle.
