Own software project planning, integrated schedules, risk tracking, resource planning, metrics, and program documentation across Firefly launch vehicle programs. Coordinate Flight Software, Ground Software, GNC, hardware, test engineering, and vehicle program teams. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage dependencies and milestones, support design reviews and qualification testing, and drive technical and programmatic issues to closure using Jira and Confluence.

Develop targeting algorithms, error budgets, contingency plans, and operational procedures; support flight dynamics operations and maneuver reconstruction; validate models and software; document technical analyses; and mentor junior engineers.

Develops, qualifies, and continuously improves CNC and KUKA robotic machining processes for aerospace composite structures. Responsibilities include toolpath programming, robotic simulation, tooling and fixturing, workholding, process capability, inspection, troubleshooting, documentation, nonconformance resolution, equipment implementation, and production support. The engineer partners with design and manufacturing teams to deliver safe, high-quality, cost-effective processes meeting demanding aerospace tolerances and schedules.

Coordinates procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing, coating, and commissioning of ground support equipment for aerospace programs. Improves work-order processes, manages suppliers and schedules, supports make-or-buy decisions, reconciles design intent with as-built hardware, participates in design reviews, creates manufacturing bills of materials and RFQs, manages inventory, and dispositions nonconformances. The role works closely with engineers, technicians, welders, purchasers, contractors, and leadership at an on-site rocket manufacturing facility.
