Leads regional ocean freight operations with full product P&L responsibility, including budgeting, performance monitoring, pricing, procurement, carrier negotiations, capacity allocation, and trade lane management. Supports commercial activities, ensures FMC compliance, strengthens carrier and regional relationships, improves operational procedures, and resolves escalated issues. Manages ocean teams across countries and cultures while driving performance, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth.

Drive acquisition and retention of profitable logistics and supply chain accounts. Develop and execute account sales strategies and yearly business plans, manage client relationships, negotiate contracts, and report sales activity. Utilize SEKO technology and Microsoft Office, travel for client meetings, and support market and competitor analysis.

Coordinate inbound domestic freight: plan driver routes, call to schedule deliveries, verify preload/inbound freight against paperwork and update the TMS, arrange transfers via partner carriers, and produce quotes for transportation services.

Monitor SIEM alerts, investigate and respond to security incidents, perform vulnerability assessments and third-party risk reviews, support compliance (CTPAT, DFARS, ITAR), assist with cloud/SaaS security and secure development, deliver security awareness training, and help maintain incident response and audit documentation.

Drive territory revenue by acquiring and retaining logistics and transportation clients. Develop account strategies, execute sales plans, manage relationships, report results, and represent SEKO through travel, client meetings, and outreach. Maintain market knowledge and comply with company policies.

Lead acquisition and retention of profitable logistics accounts; develop and execute account sales strategies and yearly business plans; maintain customer, competitor and market expertise; use SEKO tools and reporting; perform sales calls, client entertainment and travel; prepare sales activity reports; ensure compliance with C-TPAT and company policies.

Sell SEKO logistics solutions by prospecting and closing new business, managing customer relationships, preparing proposals/RFP responses, maintaining sales records, and meeting territory sales targets. Represent domestic and international freight, FTL/LTL, and fulfillment services.

Manage day-to-day international and domestic shipments: documentation, routing, carrier coordination, rate negotiation, shipment tracking and customer communication. Ensure regulatory compliance (TSA, C-TPAT, Hazmat), accurate recordkeeping, billing/manifest processing, and contribute to operational reporting and customer service improvements.

Coordinate domestic logistics by tracking shipments, communicating customer requirements to stations and agents, processing vendor invoices, obtaining PODs and recoveries, answering inquiries, maintaining account files, and ensuring compliance with FAA, hazardous materials, and C-TPAT security procedures.
