Leads Takeda’s global employee engagement, corporate site, culture, executive, functional, transformation, and change communications strategies. Advises senior executives, oversees internal communications platforms, establishes communications centers of excellence, and leads a globally distributed team of 10+ professionals. The role drives enterprise consistency, employee connection, culture transformation, stakeholder engagement, corporate reputation, and communications governance across HR, Legal-Ethics & Compliance, Communications & Governance, and global corporate sites.

Leads Takeda’s global enterprise technology communications strategy, including AI, digital transformation, data, cybersecurity, executive communications, employee engagement, media relations, and thought leadership. Advises the Chief Digital and Technology Officer and leadership team, develops enterprise narratives, strengthens external technology reputation, aligns global stakeholders, and leads a geographically distributed communications team. The role also establishes communications governance, measurement approaches, and strategic messaging that explains how technology supports business performance, innovation, patients, and long-term growth.

Leads Takeda’s global financial communications strategy, advising the CFO and senior executives on investor, shareholder, employee, media, and financial messaging. Oversees earnings communications, investor events, annual reporting, retail shareholder engagement, financial media relations, risk messaging, disclosure governance, and global communications alignment. Builds and develops a high-performing international team while establishing enterprise-wide communication frameworks, standards, and measurement practices.

Supports global HR service delivery across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, job changes, leave, termination, Tier 2 query resolution, HR transactions, documentation, compliance, and employee support. The role also improves HR processes through automation, workflow optimization, data analysis, AI-enabled tools, self-service adoption, and knowledge governance. Partners with global HR stakeholders in a matrixed environment to deliver consistent, accurate, and human-centered employee experiences.

Leads commercial operating cadence, governance, planning, performance reviews, decision accountability, and cross-functional launch readiness for Takeda Canada. Coordinates integrated plans, workstreams, milestones, risks, dependencies, and leadership forums while translating data into decision-ready recommendations. Partners across commercial, analytics, marketing, sales, compliance, medical, legal, and regulatory teams. Drives operational improvement, responsible AI and automation adoption, compliance coordination, and execution follow-through across complex, matrixed initiatives.

Leads tax strategy and compliance across Europe and Canada, managing tax audits, corporate income tax compliance, tax litigation, transfer pricing, indirect and withholding taxes. Advises finance and business stakeholders, monitors legislative changes, mitigates tax risks, reviews contracts, coordinates external providers, and supports tax process improvements and communication with authorities.

Leads Agile capability development across approximately 10 teams and two value streams. Owns maturity frameworks, learning pathways, assessments, training, workshops, and communities of practice. Analyzes maturity and delivery data to identify improvement priorities, manages Comparative Agility, drives Takeda.io adoption, and creates enablement materials. Partners with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to improve Agile practices, delivery performance, and organizational maturity.
