Leads the APAC legal function and regional team for a global SaaS company. Advises executive leadership on commercial contracting, employment law, privacy, regulatory compliance, litigation, risk management, and corporate matters. Manages and develops legal teams, negotiates complex technology and commercial agreements, oversees outside counsel and legal budgets, supports M&A activities, and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to enable growth while mitigating legal and regulatory risk.

Lead and evolve MRI's enterprise GRC program: define policies, run risk assessments, manage SOC 2/ISO/PCI audits, oversee third-party risk, drive compliance training, respond to incidents, produce executive reporting, and mentor a team of GRC analysts while partnering cross-functionally to support customer due diligence.

Provide client-facing application support for MRI Software customers (property/financial clients). Triage and resolve inbound requests via phone/portal/e-case within SLAs, document issues, communicate status, and create/maintain user documentation. Work US EST hours, hybrid role based in Cape Town.
