Identify and close new enterprise accounts, manage complex sales cycles, develop territory plans, respond to tenders, and build relationships with customers, partners, and executives. Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, channel managers, and internal teams to deliver competitive solutions, competitive displacement campaigns, and customer satisfaction. Regular travel throughout the assigned territory is required.

Design and implement new features, improve filesystem I/O performance, maintain and refactor legacy code, and support core storage components. The role also involves technical leadership, team development, and collaboration using Scrum and Agile practices.

Leads an interoperability testing team responsible for validating compatibility, availability, stability, and integration of enterprise storage products. Oversees engineers through software design, implementation, debugging, and system-level issue analysis. Plans and executes tests, participates in technical reviews, and maintains long-running hardware and software test environments. Requires experience leading teams, testing complex distributed software systems, Linux, cloud and virtualization technologies, and SAN/NAS storage architectures.

Evaluates, qualifies, and integrates enterprise storage hardware and firmware, including servers, drives, enclosures, power components, and networking hardware. Leads complex debugging, failure analysis, corrective actions, vendor collaboration, and hardware projects. Provides Level 3 support to manufacturing, R&D, QA, IT, and other internal teams while maintaining hardware documentation and knowledge bases.

Develop and maintain high-performance, multi-threaded NAS server software in C++ on Linux. Implement and optimize network file-sharing protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS, S3), debug clustered systems, improve performance and reliability, collaborate with QA/PM/R&D, write tests and documentation, and contribute to architecture for scalability and fault tolerance.

Owns presales technical evaluations, customer onboarding, field troubleshooting, lab and acceptance testing, and first-line triage for enterprise storage products. Runs demos and POCs, performs on-site installs, maintains lab environments, validates releases, manages Jira triage, and documents procedures and release notes.

Own end-to-end development of storage management and automation tools: design and implement Python CLI and libraries, extend Ansible Collection modules, maintain containerized services, manage multi-distribution packaging and GitLab CI/CD, investigate field exceptions, and validate/promote releases across heterogeneous host and hypervisor environments.

Drive revenue and market penetration for enterprise storage platforms in the West region. Manage strategic and tactical relationships with prospects, clients, partners, and an assigned Pre-Sales SE. Create proposals, respond to RFP/RFIs, run competitive takeout campaigns, and support presales/postsales activities to achieve quota.

Manage and grow enterprise accounts across the DACH region, build C-level relationships, drive revenue and quota attainment via partners, develop RFP/RFI responses, proposals and POCs, and use MEDDPICC to qualify and close complex storage deals.
