Research and develop AI-driven quantitative investment strategies for the China research team. Use LLMs, NLP, alternative data and deep/reinforcement learning to generate alpha, build scalable data pipelines, implement and backtest models, ensure interpretability, and support implementation including ML-based trading cost and risk models through to trade execution and portfolio construction.

Support, configure and maintain the Finance and People SaaS estate (Workday plus Greenhouse, CultureAmp, Kyriba, FloQast). Own BAU support rota, troubleshoot integrations (Workato/middleware, APIs, file interfaces), resolve tickets, improve processes and documentation, apply agentic AI tools like Claude Code to automate and prototype, and enforce change-control and audit standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders, adopt AI-assisted development tools, troubleshoot performance issues, and drive delivery in a market-data environment.

The Associate Portfolio Manager will work with Portfolio Managers to manage portfolios, validate investment signals, analyze portfolio performance, and contribute to research projects.

Work with quantitative researchers and portfolio managers to onboard datasets, implement trading signals, build portfolio optimization and data visualization tools, enhance research platforms, and performance-tune production code using efficient numerical algorithms and cluster computing.

Develop and improve risk-parity and AI-driven quantitative investment strategies for China markets. Own the full lifecycle from alpha generation, data gathering and modeling, to portfolio construction, execution and performance attribution. Build and refine risk models, volatility and correlation frameworks, ML/deep learning/LLM-based models, and implementation research while communicating results to internal and external stakeholders.

Support financial control and reporting for UK and select overseas subsidiaries: month-end accounting, reconciliations, statutory and regulatory reporting, tax returns, board reporting, auditor liaison, process ownership (e.g., fixed assets, transfer pricing), cross-team coordination, process improvement, and mentoring junior staff.

Build and productionize numerical and data-driven tools for front-office research and trading: onboard datasets, implement trading signals, develop portfolio optimization and visualization, enhance research platform, and performance-tune numerical code for high-throughput systems.

Support, configure and maintain the Finance and People SaaS estate (Workday plus other tools). Own BAU support, build and troubleshoot integrations (Workato/APIs), apply AI tooling like Claude Code to automate and prototype, and deliver durable process, control and change-management improvements.
