The Engineering Intern contributes to software design, development, testing, automation, deployment, support, and continuous improvement within a cross-functional Agile product team. Under experienced guidance, the intern learns cloud-native, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, secure development, and AI-enabled engineering practices. Responsibilities include completing assigned engineering work, participating in code reviews and Agile ceremonies, collaborating across technical and business teams, documenting work, supporting operations, applying feedback, and developing capabilities for potential progression into an Associate Engineer role.

Paid software engineering internship for students pursuing practical experience in software design, development, testing, automation, deployment, support, and continuous improvement. Working under experienced engineers within a cross-functional Agile product team, the intern will learn cloud-native, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and AI-enabled engineering practices while contributing to well-defined assignments and collaborating with technical and business partners. The role is full-time through Summer 2027 in Lakeville or Mankato, Minnesota.

Manage end-to-end real-estate secured loan closings: collect and review documents, verify legal descriptions and title commitments, coordinate orders (title, appraisal, flood), prepare settlement/disbursement statements, execute closings and funding, file legal documents, perform post-close reviews, and support lending and client service teams.

Researches property histories and public records to prepare title commitments, policies, and reports. Reviews plats, liens, judgments, and legal descriptions to ensure clear title and lender lien position. Collaborates with underwriters, issues final title policies, completes loan certifications, and communicates with transaction parties. Maintains compliance with state statutes and internal underwriting standards.

Manage accurate processing, closing, funding and servicing of real-estate secured transactions. Coordinate title, appraisal and flood determinations, prepare and review closing and collateral documents, execute closings with clients, administer funding and filings, perform post-close reviews, ensure regulatory and policy compliance, and provide client support across lending business units.

Support Tax Consultants by entering client financial data for payroll filings, monthly accounting, and federal/state tax returns. Collaborate with CPAs and EAs, develop farm tax knowledge, provide administrative support (organizing, scanning, mailing), and learn accounting and tax preparation processes in an agricultural firm.

Lead the Audit Services team to design and execute risk-based audit programs, assess internal controls, manage regulatory relationships, report to the Audit & Finance Committee, and recommend remedial actions. Oversee annual planning, risk assessments, audit execution, issue closure validation, and team leadership while maintaining independence and collaborating with business leaders to monitor compliance and emerging risks.

Grow client relationships and revenue, provide subject-matter expertise, and mentor/training team members to ensure quality and compliance.
