Lead design, test, and continuous improvement of cryogenic systems for quantum computers. Drive root-cause analyses, develop experiments, create engineering documentation, support integration, commissioning, and field service, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating cross-functional projects to improve reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability.

Design and deliver quantum optimization solutions by mapping customer problems to D-Wave hybrid solvers, building and testing prototypes, developing production applications, and collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and product feedback.

Create and maintain customer-facing technical documentation (API references, user guides, hardware docs, code examples, release notes). Collaborate with software, hardware, support, product, and marketing teams; participate in product lifecycle; improve documentation processes, single-sourcing, and discoverability; use Git and Jira to track and resolve documentation issues.

Drive integration of D-Wave's QPU fabrication processes from R&D to low-to-medium-volume production. Design and execute experiments, operate and qualify lithography, deposition and etch tools, implement SPC and in situ metrology, troubleshoot equipment, mentor junior engineers, and support design and facility build-out.

Design, test, characterize, and optimize cryogenic RF networks and hardware for quantum computers. Model and simulate RF performance, develop validation plans, perform lab testing and troubleshooting, select materials and manufacturing approaches for cryogenic PCBs and interconnects, integrate systems with cross-functional teams, work with vendors, and drive continuous improvement of RF designs and test methodologies.

Conduct market and competitive intelligence research for quantum computing products; track competitors, patents, publications, financial signals, and industry trends. Use AI-enabled tools and dashboards (Tableau/Power BI/Python) to gather, analyze, and visualize data. Produce reports and presentations to inform product strategy and support cross-functional teams.

Design and verify superconducting integrated circuits and layouts for quantum processors. Model device behavior, use/extend EDA toolchains, simulate electromagnetic and quantum effects, and collaborate cross-functionally to debug and document designs.
