The role requires independently closing technical and platform deals, building a new commercial motion from scratch, and using AI to improve sales, research, and pipeline execution.

Own the company’s revenue infrastructure, including usage-based API billing, metering, quotas, spend caps, tiered plans, invoicing, affiliate commission ingestion, attribution, reconciliation, and ledger integrity. Build and operate the billing spine using TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, ensuring idempotent processing, accurate financial reporting, and reliable cutover from free to paid API access. Make architecture decisions, verify agent-produced code, instrument failures, and protect production revenue correctness.

Own the end-to-end commerce data supply chain, including third-party ingestion, schema-drift detection, entity resolution, deduplication, freshness SLAs, and retirement of stale records. Build and operate production-scale crawling systems across diverse e-commerce stores, diagnose failure modes, improve coverage and accuracy, and verify AI-generated code. Manage fleet economics while navigating anti-bot systems and maintaining reliable machine-verifiable checkout evidence.

Own the consumer product quality bar and author locked specifications for conversational answers, SEO-focused Truth Graph pages, personalization, and developer APIs. Translate strategy into executable specs, acceptance tests, and verified builds created by AI agents. Define decision-support UX, calibrated trust standards, and measurable product outcomes while partnering with the founder, designer, and domain operators. This is a founding individual-contributor role requiring strong consumer product judgment, precise writing, evaluation design, and hands-on ownership of the full product development loop.
