Lead go-to-market strategy for new products, offers, and motions through experimentation and test-and-learn approaches. Shape segmentation, positioning, pricing, and cross-product narratives; synthesize market and customer insights; align Product, Sales, Growth, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams; build new processes and systems; define performance metrics; and optimize initiatives to drive adoption, growth, and product-market fit.

Lead design, build, and test infrastructure for Gusto's Risk platform; own complex projects end-to-end with product, design, and data partners; scale Ruby/Rails and TypeScript/React applications; mentor engineers; participate in on-call rotations and incident response; reduce technical debt and improve reliability while enabling fraud prevention and credit underwriting capabilities.

Design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce Apex solutions supporting Sales and Customer Experience teams. Use AI coding assistants throughout development, apply Salesforce architecture and release-management practices, deploy with sf CLI, and build reliable production systems at scale. Improve deployed features, measure impact, document code, and contribute beyond Salesforce when needed. Translate ambiguous requirements into scalable technical solutions and business value.

Manage and execute the RIA and BD compliance program: registration and filings, surveillance, testing, advertising review, training, electronic communications monitoring, vendor due diligence, AI governance, exam readiness, and day-to-day program operations supporting SEC and FINRA requirements.

The Principal Engineer will lead technical direction across multiple teams, design architecture for financial systems, mentor engineers, and drive multi-year transformations in the Money Group.
