Serves as the systems engineering technical authority for eVTOL aircraft development. Reviews system architectures, requirements, safety analyses, configuration changes, verification artifacts, and certification readiness against FAA standards and Supernal’s Part 21 obligations. Leads cross-functional integration, identifies technical and certification risks, supports milestone and configuration control reviews, and improves engineering governance and compliance processes across the aircraft lifecycle.

Supports eVTOL aircraft flight sciences through control law development, flight dynamics analysis, handling qualities evaluation, simulation integration, and verification. The role assesses stability, controllability, aircraft response, pilot-vehicle interaction, and failure modes using MATLAB/Simulink, FLIGHTLAB, and simulation environments. Responsibilities include test planning, pilot-in-the-loop simulation, flight and ground test data review, technical documentation, design trade studies, and cross-functional collaboration. The position is onsite five days per week and requires approximately 10% domestic and international travel.

Leads aircraft-level system safety across the eVTOL lifecycle, owning safety strategy, governance, analyses, requirements, certification compliance, supplier coordination, and risk decisions. The role directs FHA, PSSA, SSA, CMA, PRA, and ZSA activities; interfaces with authorities and partners; influences aircraft design; and mentors safety engineers. It requires extensive aerospace safety experience, certification expertise, and knowledge of ARP4754, ARP4761, PL.2510, and applicable airworthiness standards.

Leads mechanical and flight systems engineering for eVTOL aircraft across requirements, design, analysis, testing, certification, production, and in-service support. Oversees dynamic systems, airframe, composites, avionics, actuation, landing gear, interiors, materials, suppliers, schedules, budgets, and risks. Establishes engineering standards and development strategies, builds multidisciplinary teams, supports FAA certification, and drives safety, quality, manufacturing readiness, and technology advancement. The role is on-site five days weekly and requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.
