Lead Prelim’s security program across secure SDLC, application and cloud security, IAM, incident response, endpoint management, vendor risk, security reviews, and SOC 2 Type II compliance. Partner with DevOps and engineering, coordinate penetration testing, develop policies and risk roadmaps, manage audits and customer questionnaires, and improve detection and access controls. The role is the company’s first dedicated security hire and requires strong judgment, communication, and hands-on technical skills.

Own Prelim’s end-to-end DevOps and infrastructure function, including CI/CD, reproducible infrastructure, progressive deployments, monitoring, alerting, incident response, uptime targets, compliance evidence, access controls, audit logging, and cloud cost optimization. Partner with security on SOC 2 and bank due diligence while establishing scalable, automated operational practices for a regulated fintech platform.

Architect and build scalable, reliable onboarding systems for financial institutions. Responsibilities include developing full-stack features, integrating legacy banking and compliance systems, solving multi-tenant and real-time processing challenges, translating banking requirements into technical solutions, and owning system performance and scalability. The role involves direct collaboration with customers, product teams, banks, and engineering leadership in a fully remote startup environment.

Manage a portfolio of live banking clients after go-live. Build stakeholder relationships, maintain workflows and configurations, troubleshoot platform issues, handle escalations and support tickets, and coordinate with product and engineering teams. Educate bank employees, communicate product releases, assist with strategic implementations, and de-escalate complex customer situations while ensuring timely issue resolution and successful platform adoption.

Lead concurrent bank implementations, manage stakeholders from executives to operations, coordinate cross-functional teams, translate technical requirements, prevent scope creep, perform hands-on configuration/debugging as needed, document solutions, and escalate blockers to sales and leadership to ensure on-time launches.

Build Prelim's first business operations function: create cross-team coordination, workload visibility, operational rhythms, staffing and project coordination, and manage vendors/logistics to ensure scaled, reliable delivery while working closely with the founder and team leads.
