Design and implement memory-safe secure middleware and OTA update systems for edge controllers (C/C++/Rust). The hybrid Berkeley role requires approximately 30% domestic and international travel.

Design and validate industrial control panels for high-voltage battery systems. Responsibilities include schematic, layout, and BOM development in EPLAN; component selection; NEC and UL 508A compliance; vendor coordination; high-voltage testing; mechanical integration; and DFMEA support. The role requires electrical engineering knowledge, panel design experience, high-voltage safety expertise, and familiarity with power conversion, protection coordination, PLM, product development, and requirements management tools.
