Manage a caseload of basic to highly complex insurance claims within authority, mentor account staff, investigate and resolve claims, apply jurisdictional and medical knowledge, manage litigation and ensure compliance while minimizing financial liability.

Lead account management and client retention for complex/jumbo clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, revenue growth, renewals and contract negotiations. Oversee local client services staff, provide stewardship reporting, coordinate invoicing/audits, remove process barriers by influencing internal teams, and apply California workers' compensation expertise.

Coordinate and manage marketing and creative projects, including intake, scheduling, resource coordination, timelines, status updates, risk identification, and weekly reporting. Maintain work management platform, facilitate communication between creative teams and stakeholders, review deliverables, and support continuous improvement to ensure projects align with business objectives and are completed on time.

Provide clerical support to workers' compensation claims staff: set up and enter new claims, update notes/diaries, process payments and mail, prepare correspondence and reports, schedule appointments, answer calls, and perform general office duties.

Adjudicate low-level workers' compensation claims, determine compensability and benefits, monitor reserves, document files, communicate with claimants/clients/medical contacts, process routine payments/prescriptions, and support more complex claims and quality programs under supervision.

Lead strategic oversight of a Large National Client General Liability program, aligning litigated and non-litigated operations, performance management, analytics, client stewardship, and improvement initiatives. Oversee claims managers and supervisors, translate data into actionable insights, coordinate with stakeholders and executive leadership, and support quality programs. Manage hiring, colleague development, and cross-functional operational coordination. Travel as required.

Manage complex workers' compensation claims from investigation through resolution, including reserve setting, benefit payments, litigation management, subrogation/recoveries, vendor coordination, and client/claimant communication. Negotiate settlements, ensure statutory filings, and use cost-containment strategies to achieve timely, compliant claim outcomes.

Analyze and manage FMLA and other unpaid leave claims, determine eligibility and benefits per client plans and regulations, communicate decisions to claimants/clients, and maintain documentation and quality standards.

Review, investigate, and adjudicate California workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due. Communicate with claimants, clients, and carriers, negotiate settlements within authority, and meet service and reporting requirements.

Analyze leave requests and establish FMLA claims; determine eligibility and paid leave benefits per client plans and laws; calculate and process payments/adjustments; track documentation, communicate decisions to claimants and clients, and maintain professional client relationships.
