Leads BECU’s API platform strategy, engineering and delivery teams, technology roadmaps, governance, budgeting, vendor partnerships, and agile execution. Oversees scalable, secure APIs using C#/.NET on Azure, GraphQL, and REST; advances API lifecycle standards, CI/CD, quality, security, observability, and cloud-native practices. Designs and develops complex cloud-native data solutions, scalable batch and real-time pipelines, APIs, data models, and enterprise data platforms. Implements data governance, quality, lineage, security, observability, CI/CD, automated testing, and operational reporting capabilities. Collaborates with architects, product owners, analysts, governance, security, and platform teams on technology strategy and cloud modernization. Mentors engineers, leads technical design discussions, presents recommendations, and supports AI-ready data products and emerging development tools.

Develops, calibrates, validates, and maintains credit risk models, including PD, LGD, and EAD models, for lending, collections, loss forecasting, capital planning, and stress testing. Analyzes large datasets, evaluates model performance, documents model changes, supports systems testing, and communicates statistical insights to stakeholders and management. Collaborates across the credit union to improve risk-return strategies and reporting.
