Lead and grow Stantec's biosolids practice in the Pacific region by developing technical capabilities, supporting business development, engaging clients, guiding complex project delivery, promoting thought leadership, recruiting and mentoring staff, and aligning regional efforts with North America sector strategy. Serve as a subject matter expert on biosolids technologies, regulations, and innovation while representing the firm externally.

Design and deliver electrical systems for buildings including power distribution, lighting, energy storage, and fire alarm systems. Produce coordinated construction documentation, perform load studies and calculations, specify equipment, conduct site assessments, and support project management. Coordinate with architects and disciplines, prepare technical reports, uphold QA, participate in client meetings, and mentor junior staff.

Analyze and report on client development and growth programs, build and validate dashboards and recurring reports, synthesize multi-source data into actionable insights, and collaborate cross-functionally to support business development and account management growth targets.

The Mechanical Engineer will manage complex projects, apply engineering principles in building design, ensure client satisfaction, and train team members while coordinating multi-discipline resources.

Design and engineer electrical systems for water/wastewater projects: prepare calculations, drawings, single-line and control schematics, specifications; review shop drawings; conduct field investigations and construction-phase services; coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams; support estimating and business development.

Lead mechanical design for complex building projects including HVAC, ventilation, heat rejection, and building controls. Produce schematic through construction documents, coordinate with disciplines, perform site surveys, QA/QC, mentor junior staff, support business development, and manage multidisciplinary teams across delivery models while incorporating sustainable design and green-rating documentation.

Lead electrical design and serve as Engineer of Record for building projects. Produce electrical layouts, one-line and grounding diagrams, lighting and life-safety designs, and construction specifications. Model and analyze power distribution with SKM/ETAP/EZ-Power, perform field investigations, coordinate cross-discipline design, provide construction administration, interact with AHJs, specify electrical equipment, and mentor junior staff.

Design and perform studies for HV/EHV AC and DC substations, develop detailed substation designs and specifications, support procurement, construction and commissioning, mentor junior engineers, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, perform site visits, and follow QA/QC procedures to deliver projects on schedule.

Lead mechanical discipline designs (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection) for water and hydro projects through all project phases. Produce BODRs, calculations, drawings, specifications, cost opinions, respond to RFIs, review submittals, attend site visits, coordinate with disciplines, mentor EITs, and perform limited travel (~5%).

Lead daily electrical building services design from concept through construction, covering power, lighting, ELV systems, transformer/generator and cable sizing, SLDs, GA, schematics, BOQs and tender documentation. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and regional leads, handle RFIs, review vendor submittals, participate in 3D BIM coordination, and apply Revit MEP/BIM360/Navisworks and automation tools to improve productivity.
